The time is coming soon for the World Football Championships to be held soon in South Africa - a country to be discovered in all its features. Being a multiracial country, it offers a greatly varied cuisine where recipes galore can be found. It is to be taken into consideration that the climate in this part of the sub-continent is mild being in that part of the world blessed with a great deal of sunshine, a large part of which faces the sea and snow only appears approximately every twenty years for a short while.
It is surprising to learn that the plateau in the north reaches more or less six thousand feet (almost 2000 meters). South Africa presents a number of diverse panoramas ranging from plateau to desert, luxuriant coasts to fertile vineyards, and the like.
