Ingredients Minced beef  300 gr.
Carrot 1
Onion 1
Peeled tomates  500 gr.
Basil  a few leaves
Extra virgin olive oil  as required
Salt  to taste

Preparation Put a little oil in a sauce pot on the fireSautè the diced carrots and onions.

Add the mince meat and a little salt and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes. At this stage add the tomatoes and a few basil leaves.

Crush the tomatoes with a spoon or a fork.Put the lid on but leave a little space and cook for 20 minutes.
 
The Chef's tips Add a little water if the sauce gets too dry.
