Garlic  2 cloves

Preparation Wash the basil carefully and dry it well. Put the basil leaves into a bottle, add the extra virgin olive oil and the cloves of garlic.

Seal the bottle and store it in a dry, dark and cool place for 10 days.

You can leave the basil inside the bottle even after it is open, but you must always cover the basil with oil.
 
The Chef's tips This kind of oil is perfect for seasoning raw vegetables and especially tomatoes. For instance you can season the garnished Frattau bread with this oil.
