Ingredients Asparagus  1 kilo
Extra virgin olive oil  as required
Butter  100 gr.
Sliced almonds  60 gr.
Balsamic vinegar  1 tablespoon
Salt  to taste
Pepper  to taste

Preparation Scrape the asparagus stalks and cut then all the same length. Wash well and boil in plenty of water for 5 minutes. Let them cool, then drain them and dry them with a dry cloth. Arrange them on an oven dish and brush them with extra virgin olive oil. Put them into the oven under the grill for about 3 minutes or until they are slightly browned.

To prepare the sauce, melt the butter and as soon as it is hot, remove it from the flame and add the balsamic vinegar,the salt and pepper to taste. Season the asparagus with this sauce and after passing the almonds quickly in a hot pan, sprinkle them over top.
