Preparation Cut the onion and the garlic into small pieces and put them into a pan with extra virgin olive oil. Let them all brown. Cut the beef into small cubes, dice the red peppers and the parsley and remove the bones from the anchovies.
Add the beef to the pan and simmer for about 2 minutes (just the time to scald it) Add the parsley, peppers, anchovies and the tomato sauce. If you wish, add a pinch of black pepper and salt according to your taste. Let it cook for about 50 minutes. Buon appetito!. The Chef's tips To clean the anchovies, first remove the heads then open them cutting downwards towards the tail and take the bone out. Wash them thoroughly and dry them.
