Peeled Almonds 50 gr.
Sugar 110 gr.
Butter 1 spoonful
Eggs 4
Flour 50 gr.
Potato Flour 50 gr.

Preparation Put the almonds into a mortar and grind them finely together with a spoonful of sugar. Melt the butter. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add 100 gr. of sugar to the yolks and whisk well until they have risen and are foamy. Then add the almonds. Sieve the flour and potato flour, and add together with the melted butter and a little salt.
Whisk the egg whites until they are stiff and mix them together with the above ingredients stirring from the bottom to the top so that the mixture does not flop. Grease a round mould with the butter and pour the mixture in. Put it into a pre-heated 180° oven for 45 minutes, then remove it from the mould carefully and let it cool.
Break the chocolate into pieces and put it into a saucepan with two spoonfuls of milk. Let it simmer over a low heat until the chocolate has melted, then spread it over the cake, on the sides as well. Before serving make sure that the chocolate icing has become hard.
