Description
Barolo is known as the king of wines and the wine of kings. It comes from the south western region of Piedmont. This area is perhaps the most famous of the Italian regions for the production of wine. This is a wine that lends itself particularly to ageing. It has its origins in the early nineteenth century and was perfected at the time by the aristocrats of the time whose means permitted them to perfect this wine.
It is made almost entirely from the Nebbiolo grapes coming from the rural community district of the Langhe. These grapes mature in a climate that is perfect for the production of red wines, the most famous of which is Barolo.
We suggest you should drink it with red meats, game, the more tasty and ripe cheese.
