Description
The grapes selected for this wine are the large Sangiovese type. The wines coming from Montalcino, in the province of Tuscany are renowned in Italy. These vineyards extend all around the countryside and produce many different types of wine: red, white and sweet, all of excellent quality.
The Brunello di Montalcino takes some time to prepare and is known to last up to ten years. During this period, the tannins soften and the wine gains in taste.
