Description It is made from Montepulciano, Trebbiano toscano and Aglianico grapes. The combination of these grapes, ranging from austere to sweet, produces a wine that is soft to the taste. The climate in this tiny Italian region is cold in winter because of its snow capped mountains in the centre and its summers are hot. The weather is mild near the coast and lends itself to cultivating grapes.
