Description
The Cannonau wine covers about 20% of the Sardinian territory but it is mainly cultivated in the province of Nuoro. It grows well on poor soil and the grapes are harvested only late in the season towards the middle of October. It is made from grapes having the same name which were already to be found in the 12th Century. This wine is well suited with the typical food of Sardinia.
