Description Favorita" is a species of grapevine which produces a white fruit and is traditionally cultivated on the banks of the river Tanaro. The grapes are crushed when they are ripe, which is usually in the middle of September, and the must is subjected to alcoholic fermentation at constantly low temperatures (17 - 18°C). After several months (the beginning of Spring) it is bottled. After few weeks the wine goes on the market. Langhe Favorita is a wine with a fine and highly individual character. Although it is straw-coloured, this is not overly accentuated. This yellow is enhanced by a subtle green reflection. It has a fragrant, fruity and decisively flowery aroma with a very pleasant hint of rennet apple. It tastes full, dry and delicately acidy.
