Description
This wine is mademainly from Sangiovese grapes and black Canaiolo. The area around Bolghieri is to be found near the coast between Leghorn and Grosseto. Tuscany is famous for its wines such as the world famous Chianti. However, it produces other quality wines such as Bolghieri which may be found as a white or a red wine besides the Rosé.
The climate in Tuscany around the coast is mild enough for wine production – a mixture of Mediterranean and continental. Sangiovese is the key grape variety in all these regions. The Bolghieri region is provided with the most up to date equipment at present.
